COLOR!!!

Color trends in Interior Design spaces for 2012 seem practical with versatile neutrals but also bold and confident with complimentary bright "popping" colors incorporated, for fun and edgy, yet sophisticated and mature spaces. We are seeing lots of fuchsia, warm red, maroon, orange, golden yellow, turquoise, and cobalt blue incorporated into these spaces. Also popular is the combining of analogous colors on the color wheel creating whimsical palettes that are sure to brighten anyone's day!

Furnishings for 2012 seem simple, yet make make a leave a breath taking impression. I'm seeing clean lines and simple designs, creating calm and relaxing spaces. Function is incorporated into these designs as well with for example extending tables allowing for entertaining. Green is working it's way into the furnishings market as well!

I'm seeing pillows, pillows and more pillows for living spaces and bedrooms being used with vibrant colors to add some fun into spaces during 2012. Flowers seem to be the ultimate accessory for spring and summer of 2012, bringing a bit of the outdoors in for a natural touch.
